Hi everyone! I’m Tiffany and I’m so excited to be the owner of SLAM Crestview! I served 6 years in the Army as an Imagery Analyst before being medically retired in the summer of 2022, but I don’t let my obstacles hold me back. I now spend my time as an Army wife, happily married to my husband, Michael, and mom to 2, Everett (4) and Haven (8 months). Before the Army I was a competitive gymnast for 14 years and always knew I wanted to continue an athletic lifestyle, which led me to searching and finding SLAM at the end of 2022!

I started my SLAM journey at SLAM Wahiawa in Hawaii, 12 weeks postpartum. I was looking for my new normal as a stay at home mom to now 2 littles. What I found was an empowering group of women to keep my spirits high and create what I now am so grateful for. The first class was nerve wracking, but everyone was SO kind and helped me feel welcomed, and that’s when I was hooked. Right then, day one, I knew I was going to do everything I could to have SLAM in my life. That’s around the same time I found out we were going to be moving to Florida and as excited as I was for the next chapter, I wasn’t ready to leave what I had come to love. I still had about 6 months until we we’re going to leave, so I continued to show up, even when it was hard, even when I didn’t feel like it. Showing up would instantly boost my mood, regardless of what was going on, for one hour everything was exactly as it should be. Some classes I worked until I couldn’t anymore and others I spent the class breastfeeding my daughter, but never once did I regret showing up. I met some amazing women while in Hawaii and my kids made amazing friends, people I will always be thankful for, people that helped shape me into the mom and person I am today.

When my 6 months neared the end, my SLAM boss asked if I was interested in owning my very own SLAM, and I knew I had to do it! I was worried I was too new to SLAM but with reassurance from not only her, but the community around me, I set the goal to open my own SLAM when I got to Florida. Immediately I started taking classes and training to get into the coaching side of things. It was a different experience coaching SLAM and I didn’t know I could enjoy it more, but I did. There is such a magical feeling when you light up a group of others, making sure everyone knows how proud they should be that they showed up and they are setting an example for their littles. I love that I can help moms not only physically but mentally become stronger. I especially love that I can help moms set positive examples for their kids.

I hope that I can help build a village for moms in Crestview. Everyone needs someone, and I know I can bring community and high energy right here to the Florida SLAMhandle! I can’t wait to meet you! Stay connected with us through Facebook and Instagram!
