Westside Park truly represents El Paso with a view of the mountains, HILLS, run paths, a shaded playground, picnic areas, a playground and a spray park seasonally.  Everything we love when we need good variety and sweat can be found here: An open fields for strides and resistance stroller pushes, curbs galore for step ups, park benches and fences for sits and resistance band work. Be ready to S.L.A.M.

Parking & Meeting Location

There are several parking lots within the park and recreation center. Join us in the lot in front of the playground to begin class.

Veterans Park

Veterans Park, located in the Northeast area of El Paso, is the perfect place to sweat and everything we need to get creative with our S.L.A.M. Veterans showcases 44 acres of big fields for strides and resistance stroller pushes, park benches, baseball fields, bleachers and a covered pavilion.

Parking & Meeting Location

There are several parking lots at Veteran’s park. Please park next to the playground where class will begin.

Brittnee is a National Guard Soldier, proud military wife, and mom of two. She achieved her ACE group fitness certification in September 2022 and is also pediatric (infant and child) and adult CPR certified including the use of an AED. She graduated in May 2022 with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Brittnee became a member of S.L.A.M in 2018 in Fayetteville, North Carolina where she was surrounded by an amazing community of uplifting and motivating mamas. Brittnee then arrived in El Paso in November 2021 after being apart from S.L.A.M. for two years. She jumped full force back into the community, in January 2022 pushing herself in every way. She is excited to share her experiences, knowledge, and fitness experience with those around her and build a strong community of women here in El Paso. Brittnee’s favorite ways to S.L.A.M. include heavy weight training, body weight training, and running.

✨ Favorite Coaching Moments:
Seeing moms at the beginning of their journey and working with them to help achieve their goals. I love seeing moms start out their running journey and hardly be able to run a mile but after training and hard persistent work they sign up for half marathons or full! They have become “runners”, which they had always been.

✨ One thing I would tell my new mom
Self is….Take it a day at a time. It is ok that progress will be slow. You are here and you have done the hardest thing by starting this journey. Have patience with yourself. Take a good deep breath and keep going!

Such an amazing group of mothers who support and encourage each other to do the best they can and then some! I’ve only been here a month and I’m loving it! So happy I found out about such an amazing and life-changing group

My daughter and I attended our first class today and I have to say, I’m upset I waited a whole month! This class was awesome! The workout was great, the instructor and all of the mamas were so welcoming and friendly. I loved every bit of it.
