Amanda Hoffmanfortknox@sweatlikeamother.com

Amanda is a military spouse and mom to one awesome little guy. She is an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor and is First Aid and CPR/AED certified through the AHA compliant organization ResusciTech. She is also a To Birth and Back Movement Professional, and Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach. Amanda was born and raised in southern West Virginia. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Comprehensive Mathematics with a minor in physics.

Amanda has always loved athleticism and fitness – playing recreational sports her entire childhood and dancing through high school and college. She never had trouble prioritizing her workouts, even as s new mom, but having a kid made her feel isolated and in need of a community. She joined S.L.A.M. Sweat Like A Mother Leavenworth in September of 2021. After a few months of fooling herself into thinking class passes were the right way to go, she joined the monthly unlimited members and never looked back. S.L.A.M gave Amanda the community she was missing and reignited a passion for helping others pursue their fitness goals. Amanda’s favorite S.L.A.M. class is Heavies, but she can’t resist a good dance at the end of a hard workout either.

Brittany Tryzbiak | Instructor

Brittany is a military spouse and Army veteran. This mom of 3, including twins, enjoys teaching fitness and surrounding herself with fierce women. Brittany is an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor and is First Aid and CPR/AED certified. She was raised in PA, attended Penn State for her undergrad, holds a Master’s degree in Social Work, and is a Kentucky Certified Social Worker. She considers herself fortunate to have three jobs she loves entirely: being a mom, supporting clients journeying through infertility and growing their families through social work, and coaching mamas on fitness.

Brittany left the Army to become a social worker. After practicing for years, she witnessed the positive impact of support groups and fitness on combating anxiety and depression, particularly in postpartum moms. She joined S.L.A.M. Leavenworth in the summer of 2020. Brittany decided to become a coach because she loved the community and saw that S.L.A.M. provided the holistic support critical to moms of all ages and backgrounds both inside and outside the military community. She truly believes S.L.A.M. saves lives. Brittany’s favorite ways to S.L.A.M. include running and agility workouts.

Jessica is a military spouse and the mother of two children. She is an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor and is First Aid and CPR/AED certified. She went to Colorado State University, earning a degree in Human Development and a second in Family and Consumer Sciences. A new path was devised and thus started a wild adventure that still keeps her on her toes.

She has always had a passion for education, health, and nutrition and has found herself working within at least one of these spheres at each duty station. She is an active volunteer in all her communities and enjoys being connected and integrated into each location. She joined SLAM Fort Knox in 2021 and loved the fun sweaty workouts but stayed for the amazing community of women. In addition to SLAM, you can catch her running or training for her quintessential local half marathon.
