Located on post at Fort Knox, Eastman Park is a convenient and fun location to Sweat Like a Mother!  The park has trails for running, an open field, tables for dips/step-ups, a covered pavilion, and an amphitheater that we can be creative with.  To top it all off, Eastman Park has a park that’s great for S.L.A.M. Kids of all ages to play after class

Dawley Park

Located off the beaten path in Radcliff, Dawley Park has everything we need for a great S.L.A.M. session: open spaces for sprints and strength work, paths to move the strollers, and basketball courts for wet days.  Not only does this park have an awesome playground, but there’s also plenty of room for S.L.A.M. kids to run around and play with their friends after class!

Please park in the lot off Dawley Park Drive, in between the football and soccer fields.

Natcher Physical Fitness Center

With a path for running, a 1/4 mile track, pull-up bars, and tires for flipping, Natcher is a great location to Sweat Like a Mother!  We love to switch up our workouts to keep things interesting and keep pursuing our goals, and Natcher is a great place to do that!  Plus, when the weather turns, we can head inside to use the basketball courts and indoor track! There’s no shortage of ways for us to sweat at this location.

Parking & Start Location

For track workouts, park in the main parking lot near the track, or along the track near Hell on Wheels Division Ave.  For indoor workouts, park in the smaller lot (to the right when facing the entrance).

Sadowski Center

Chilly winter temps and sporadic inclement weather mean we’re heading inside, and the Sadowski is the perfect place to do that! With one indoor court, we have full use of the facility, giving us plenty of space to Sweat Like a Mother!

Elli is a military spouse and girl mom of two hilarious SLAM kids.  She is a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach, an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor, NASM certified personal trainer, and is First Aid and CPR/AED certified through the AHA.  Elli was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and has a lifelong love for sports and fitness.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, and spent five and a half years as a Military Intelligence Officer before deciding to stay home full-time with her girls.

After getting out of the Army, Elli was searching for community and wanted to get back to exercising.  She joined S.L.A.M. Sweat Like A Mother El Paso in January of 2020 and it was love at first S.L.A.M.  This community has taught her about the importance of a village, and ignited a passion for helping other moms reach their health and fitness goals.  Elli’s favorite ways to S.L.A.M. include HIIT and heavy weight training.

Brittany Tryzbiak | Instructor

Brittany is a military spouse and Army veteran. This mom of 3, including twins, enjoys teaching fitness and surrounding herself with fierce women. Brittany is an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor and is First Aid and CPR/AED certified. She was raised in PA, attended Penn State for her undergrad, holds a Master’s degree in Social Work, and is a Kentucky Certified Social Worker. She considers herself fortunate to have three jobs she loves entirely: being a mom, supporting clients journeying through infertility and growing their families through social work, and coaching mamas on fitness.

Brittany left the Army to become a social worker. After practicing for years, she witnessed the positive impact of support groups and fitness on combating anxiety and depression, particularly in postpartum moms. She joined S.L.A.M. Leavenworth in the summer of 2020. Brittany decided to become a coach because she loved the community and saw that S.L.A.M. provided the holistic support critical to moms of all ages and backgrounds both inside and outside the military community. She truly believes S.L.A.M. saves lives. Brittany’s favorite ways to S.L.A.M. include running and agility workouts.

Hannah Stubert | Instructor

Hannah is an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor and is CPR/First Aid certified. She also holds her CrossFit Level 1 Instructor certification and is an ASCA and USA Swimming level 2 certified coach. She grew up active in swimming, highland dance, and ice hockey which she played in college at Slippery Rock University while earning a degree in Secondary Education – French with a minor in German. She loves that S.L.A.M. gives her the opportunity to show her boys the importance of taking care of yourself through both physical activity and meaningful social interactions. Hannah loves being part of a community of strong mamas that support each other, understand each other, and push each other to succeed.
