Shannon Coyle | Instructor

Shannon is an ACE certified group fitness instructor with a CPR/AED (for infants, children and adults) certification through the American Red Cross. She attended Central Penn College and earned an associate’s degree in their Physical Therapist Assistant program. Shannon is a licensed physical therapist assistant.

Shannon is married to an Army veteran and a mama to 3 boys. She is an Indiana transplant and has lived in 5 different states around the country. She is a conditioned athlete and has loved participating in sports and exercise since second grade. She enjoys being outside running, bike riding and spending time with her family.

Shannon discovered SLAM when her 3rd son was around 8 months old. She was hooked after her first class as she immediately felt accepted and encouraged by the other mamas. Her favorite thing about SLAM, other than the community, is how adaptable each class can be for each participant as there are always modifications offered to allow everyone to be successful. Shannon has a calling for helping others, especially with functional fitness. She believes exercise and laughter are the best medicine and it’s important to make fitness achievable and fun! She is excited to help other mamas reach their fitness goals at all ages and stages postpartum.
