SLAM Bosses

Chloe Rowsey-Young | lawton-fortsill@sweatlikeamother.com

Meet Chloe! A former competitive cheerleader turned educator and coach, Chloe brings a dynamic blend of experience and energy to the SLAM community. She holds a K–12 teaching certification in Physical Education and Health, a bachelor’s in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Kentucky, and a master’s in Instructional Design from Eastern Kentucky University.

She previously taught middle and high school PE and health but has since stepped away from the classroom to take on her favorite role yet—stay-at-home mom. Chloe also serves as a Human Resources Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. She’s married to an active-duty Army Officer, and together they’re raising their son, Dallas, along with their two dogs, Kona and Knox—named after places they’ve called home.

Passionate about movement, motherhood, and building strong communities, Chloe loves helping women feel powerful and supported. Her favorite workouts? Anything with a barbell—because strong moms lift heavy!

Alyssa | Instructor

Alyssa has a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in Kinesiology, focusing on Motor Behavior. From competing in gymnastics to coaching gymnastics to later becoming a physical therapy technician, fitness has always been a huge part of her life. When she was offered the opportunity of becoming a SLAM boss, she knew this was the next step in continuing her love of fitness! She is CPR/First Aid certified through American Red Cross. She is an Army wife of five years and a mom to a precious boy and a sweet baby girl. Alyssa found S.L.A.M. Fort Sill while looking for a community to support her and cheer her on. Her favorite ways to S.L.A.M. are doing workouts focusing on high-intensity interval training and functional fitness.
