My name is Stephanie and I am the proud owner of S.L.A.M. O’Fallon! I live an adventurous and beautiful life with my husband, Matt, our two daughters, Kali and Kira, and one fur-baby, Randolph. I have a bachelor’s degree in animal science with a minor in music and worked as a professional animal trainer for 8 years before becoming a full-time mom and discovering my passion for fitness.
I attended my very first S.L.A.M. class in September 2024, when S.L.A.M. Honolulu hosted its grand opening. My first daughter was 7 months old, and I still didn’t have that sense of community or belonging with other moms. But MAN did that change fast! After only a few classes, I felt like I was a part of something special. Not only did I get a killer workout in, but I made friendships that I knew would last a lifetime. My daughter spent her mornings watching her mama make herself a priority, and then even made little friends of her own. My mornings went from being lonely and chaotic feeling stuck in my house, to being full of sunshine, smiles, and sweat. I quickly dove headfirst into the S.L.A.M. world and was determined to soak up everything it had to offer!
I was a member, and then an instructor, at S.L.A.M. Honolulu for over a year. I was able to stay active through my entire second pregnancy, up to the day before my second daughter was born! I am such a strong believer in everything that S.L.A.M. stands for, and when I saw there wasn’t a S.L.A.M. community near our new home in O’Fallon, IL, I knew I had to change that!
S.L.A.M. isn’t “just a workout group.” It’s a support system for those tough seasons of motherhood and life. It’s a group of friends for my kids to grow close with. It’s my favorite way to start my day: with good vibes, strong women, and lots of sweat! I am so excited about bringing this area of Illinois its very own S.L.A.M. community. My hope is to bring together women in all stages of motherhood and life and help provide a village for anyone who needs it. So come and join us; we ALWAYS have room for you!
