Kaitlin received her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness and Health Promotion, and went on to coach a variety of athletes. After a while, she decided she wanted to go back to school to become a teacher, so she went back to get her elementary teaching credential as well as her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. She was a 5th grade teacher for 4 years and loved it so much, but loved being a mom even more! After being home with the kids for a few months she decided it was time to get back into coaching. While becoming a certified pregnancy and postpartum athleticism coach Kaitlin found SLAM and connected instantly! She knew that this was the kind of community she needed to be a part of and want to coach. With there not being any SLAM locations near her, she knew this was her opportunity to bring SLAM to her and create that community herself and for all the mamas in the Treasure Valley!
