Ashley Pruitt | Instructor

Ashley is a born and raised Alaskan . She is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism Coach, completed the NeuMe Physio ‘To Birth & Back’ postpartum course, and is CPR/First Aid certified. When she was in college, she saw some mamas working out in a park. Little did she know that group of ladies would become a huge part of her life just two months postpartum. Ashley grew up active in basketball, running, and played on the women’s Ultimate Frisbee team at Harding University, where she studied Elementary Education. If she’s not at S.L.A.M., you can find her drinking coffee, running, or hiking with her two little girlies in tow. She feels blessed to be able to be a part of the S.L.A.M. Fairbanks Team and loves helping these mamas achieve their goals!

Katy Giuliani | Instructor

Katy is an ACE certified Personal Trainer, Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism Coach and CPR certified. She moved to Alaska in 2018 and joined S.L.A.M. Fairbanks just a few weeks later, after meeting a few moms who wouldn’t stop talking about it! Being a mom to five she realized how much she needed a group of strong women in her life and S.L.A.M. Fairbanks provided her with those women! She found her love of fitness and running when her first child was four months old and S.L.A.M. has given her the opportunity to share that passion with other strong women! When she’s not at S.L.A.M. you can find her at the grocery store, at home doing all the things Moms do or on an adventure with her family!

Lillian Gardella | Instructor

Lillian is an ACE certified group fitness instructor and is CPR certified. She is a born and raised Alaskan, and though every January she questions the decision to stay, she loves the community and outdoor enthusiasm for our state. She is a mom to teens and loves to take them out hiking, camping, and hunting and brings along whomever is willing to go! She loves encouraging Moms of all ages and stages in their fitness goals and is proud to be a part of the amazing S.L.A.M. team.

S.L.A.M. has been life changing for me. I really don’t think I would ever have started exercising again if I hadn’t found it. Last year during the Get Fit Challenge, and the month following, I lost 15 pounds. I have kept that weight off this year, and now along with class 4 days a week, I am also training for my first half marathon in April. That is something I NEVER thought I would do. I am so thankful for all the delightful people I have met through S.L.A.M. and I know that even when the Army moves us again, I will always find a way to stay fit thanks to all I have learned through S.L.A.M. Fairbanks.

Fairbanks SLAMer

I started with SLAM when my youngest was about 14 months. I had some rough experiences with my littles in a gym daycare… so an environment in which I could bring my kids AND get a workout was perfect! The instructors don’t skimp on the workouts! I came for the workouts, but stayed for the friendships! Great workouts and great community. My kids are past stroller age now, but I still go to workouts when I can. Mama’s at all stages are always welcomed!
